arriving in San Francisco was very exciting.
because it’s San Francisco, and because when you actually catch sight of the Golden Gate Bridge, it’s breathtaking.
It’s huge and impressing and mythical, and somehow I got really emotional up on the hill looking at it. (and shooting it like crazy with my three cameras…)
I knew it was beautiful and it’d be awesome...

that day we had driven all afternoon from seattle, and we stopped, STARVING, to have some pizza (way too much) on the
beach before sunset.
the ocean was breathtaking, the beach super windy and the pizza unfinished.
