Just saw Lars Von Trier’s Melancholia.
When the movie ended it was so silent in the theater I didn’t dare to breathe for a few seconds.
I thought it was so amazing.

It’s rather chilly, and I’m rather enclined to walk straight back to bed.
Which I won’t.
I’ll drink my tea and make a new playlist for work, and hurry up to be on my way.
I’m deciding this will be a very efficient week.

Yesterday morning I made crêpes for dinner before going to work.
But not just regular crêpes, crêpes dacquoises, like my grandmother makes, from a particular region in France.
They have rhum in them, they’re sweet and always melty inside, and they’re heavenly.

Kate Moss’ wedding, cause I’m a dork.
We did brave the stormy clouds to see Manhattan on the grass,
and when enough people had done the same,
the clouds unexpectedly went away who knows where,
night came and the screen was lifted up
and the movie was amazing, as always.
I hadn’t seen it in a few years and each time I’m overwhelmed
by how great it is.
