A stack of old photos from a box never found before at my mom’s, containing WONDERS that will be scanned and re-printed asap. The munchkin-looking baby is my brother from another mother (for reals), Ulysse.
I write in English and French, I photograph, draw and paint. Based in Paris but happy to use Internet to reach anywhere. I'm available for freelance work rebeccagenet@gmail.com
My name is Rebecca.
I actually live in Paris now,
I keep taking pictures and miss Vancouver often.
This is a blog of what I do, what I really want to eat and what I think is really swell.
Enjoy !

Featuring the third picture I took with my **new polaroid camera**, but the first I really like.
Can’t wait to take that one to Iceland, although I have anxiety over which cameras to pack and which cameras to leave home…

It was a long day at work today and when I came home it was dinner time, the air was warm after a hot afternoon and I opened my windows wide. I was hit by the strong smell of jasmin from the pot out my window, the smell of whatever spicy meat my neighbours were cooking, the sound of birds and various voices from various people nearby, all living with their windows open. I love that during fresh nights in Spring and Summer, it feels like living in a small village.
Even if I can barely see a thing inside now, I won’t switch on the lights because it’s still daytime outside. I’ll just find my way to food in the dark. I always find my way to food.

Brought home an olive tree branch yesterday.
Tested a pumpkin pie recipe with Marc Grossman today.

What the heck is growing outside my window?
