Milas-Deli, a rad blog which I can’t understand a word of but that has really cool kraft paper backgrounds and lots of dough baking.
I write in English and French, I photograph, draw and paint. Based in Paris but happy to use Internet to reach anywhere. I'm available for freelance work rebeccagenet@gmail.com
My name is Rebecca.
I actually live in Paris now,
I keep taking pictures and miss Vancouver often.
This is a blog of what I do, what I really want to eat and what I think is really swell.
Enjoy !

Love & Lemons, a lovely veggie food blog.
(Found via Anthology magazine)
I have to say, all these white marble backgrounds make me a bit envious and regretful of that one little marble chopping board I fell for in Copenhagen and didn’t buy because enough is enough, and surely on can find a less expensive little marble board.
But the truth is, it was just so perfect in size, colour and smoothed angles…
Am I nuts for daydreaming about a marble board ??
Surely not, cannot be.

Rachel Khoo ?
Pictures from here and there
She looks beautiful and she’s from the UK and she cooks good stuff in her tiny parisian apartment that she once used as a restaurant, the smallest in Paris with just one table in her small living-room. How cool is that ?
Look !
Also, I’ve changed a few things in the blog’s layout tonight, it might still change.
I may use a few titles like the one above to create new categories…
Anyone has an opinion ?

I’d never heard of Sébastien Gaudard until I stepped into his pâtisserie this morning on rue des Martyrs.
Oooooh !!!!
It’s a beautiful place (just look at the floors), and the pastries just look amazing.
No fuss, not over-jellied crazy bright colored food.
I only got breakfast (delicious), but I’ll make sure to go back for more. I have to try the Mont-Blanc and the Paris-Brest, and the Puits d’amour and the Tarte à la rhubarbe meringuée ! Yes, that’s a meringue rhubarb pie.
Exactly.

Tonight, I was told the story of Christian the lion…
And so naturally I watched it the second my friends had walked out the door.
It won me over pretty easily !
+ A blueberry and grapefruit pavlova for dessert.
